Benefits
Sierra Vista Regional Health Center offers a variety of benefits in addition to the compensation you receive. Your eligibility for most benefits will depend on your employment status. Employees who are budgeted to a regular full-time or regular part-time status are eligible for benefits. Your benefits begin on the first day of the month after you have completed 90 days as an employee of Sierra Vista Regional Health Center.
Medical Plan
Full time and part-time employees are eligible for medical benefits. SVRHC offers medical coverage for employees and their dependents. We offer a preferred provider organization (PPO) plan with over 7,400 providers to choose from. Benefits include $15 office visits, wellness benefit for annual exams, vision plan, prescription plan, and no referral needed to see most specialists.
Dental Plan
Full time employees are entitled for dental insurance. The Dental Plan is a preferred provider organization (PPO) plan provided at no charge to the employee. Family coverage is available for a small monthly premium. Highlights include an annual deductible as low as $50, 100% coverage on preventative exams and X-rays, an orthodontia benefit and your choice of dentist.
Life/AD&D Insurance
Full time and part-time employees are eligible for Life/AD&D Insurance. Base life insurance is provided at no charge to the employee. Additional coverage for life insurance (supplemental) may be purchased through payroll deduction. Life insurance for your spouse or children is also available.
Disability Insurance
Full time employees are entitled to short term disability insurance. This coverage is offered at no cost to the employee. The benefit may provide up to 662/3% of your compensation lost due to a disability.
Voluntary Insurance Coverage
Full time and part-time employees are eligible for Voluntary Insurance Coverage. SVRHC offers the ability to purchase various personal insurance policies provided by AFLAC which can be paid through payroll deduction.
403(b) Plan
Full time and part-time employees are eligible for the 403(b) Plan. You are eligible to participate in the on the 1st of the month following completion of one year of service. You can contribute any percentage of your Compensation subject to the limits specified by the Internal Revenue Service. The Hospital makes a Matching Contribution of 2.5% of your Compensation as long as you meet the minimum participation contribution to the plan. The hospital will increase its level of matching after completion of five and ten years to 3.5 and 4.5%, respectively. Full vesting is achieved after five years of continuous employment.
Tuition Assistance
Full time employees are entitled to Tuition Assistance. SVRHC encourages your professional development. There are four tuition assistance programs you may apply for to receive reimbursement for approved educational classes and programs.

Gift Shop
The Hospital Gift Shop is staffed by volunteers and helps support the mission of SVRHC. It offers a variety of personal items, jewelry, toys, stationery, and snacks. Employees receive a 10% discount and may make purchases through payroll deduction.
Canyon Café
The Canyon Café offers a wide selection of delicious entrees, snacks, refreshments, and desserts for its patients and employees. As an added bonus, employees may make purchases through payroll deduction.
Direct Deposit
Employees may sign up for direct deposit to their checking and/or savings account.
Employee Awards
Upon completion of five years of employment, employees are recognized for their years of service with an award and ceremony. Each five-year milestone is recognized to reward and thank employees for their continuing service to SVRHC. In addition, SVRHC awards an employee of the year for each of the hospital’s values.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
SVRHC offers services through an EAP for employees and their families who have problems in areas such as stress, finances, family, legal, alcohol, and drugs.
Paid Time Off
If you are classified as a regular full-time or regular part-time employee, you will accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) hours. PTO hours are used to compensate you during vacations, holidays, personal, and sick days. The rate of accrual depends on your classification and the years of service you have with SVRHC.
