Release of Information
One of our top priorities is to protect the security and privacy of patient information. All information contained within a patient’s medical record is considered confidential and will not be released without the written authorization of our patients, their legal representative (must have legal papers to prove representation), a subpoena, or court order. Requests for release of information are processed by the Medical Records / HIM Department between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Process time depends on the type and volume of the request.
