Our seriously ill patients receive superlative care from empathic and specialized staff and the latest in technology within the network of our Critical Care Services. Comprised of an eight-bed Intensive Care Unit, a 12-bed Telemetry (step-down) Unit, and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, these services, jointly or individually, present a high standard of care to our region. The entire hospital team consisting of respiratory therapists, clinical dietitians, Diagnostic Imaging technicians, case managers, social workers, medical technicians, pharmacists, Surgical Services, and rehabilitation specialists support Critical Care, when needed.
From the latest in monitoring equipment to Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, the Critical Care staff has special training to provide care with this advanced equipment. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified, our highly trained staff provide our patients and their families specialized care around the clock.
So that our Intensive Care patients may obtain the rest they need, we do request that the following visiting hours be observed:
• Our Intensive
Care unit follows the general hospital visitation hours of 11:00 a.m. to 8:30
p.m.
• Two visitors are allowed for 15 minutes once per hour. These guidelines
may vary according to the desires and situational needs of each patient and
family.
• No school-age children under the age of 12 are allowed into the ICU.
