Our Pharmacy Department provides medication-related services to our patients, our clients with Casa de la Paz Hospice, our Infusion Center, and our Ambulatory Surgical Center. The licensed and certified staff of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians interacts with patients, physicians, and nursing staff to provide safe, effective, and cost-effective therapies. Our pharmacists’ credentials include Doctors of Pharmacy, and a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist.

The complexity and potential toxicities of pharmaceuticals require that a pharmacist, prior to administration to our patients, review all medication orders. The pharmacists will assess medication orders regarding in relationship to the patient’s history, current medical status, allergies, and recommend therapy changes when indicated.

Pharmacists are available for consults concerning:

- Renal Dosing
- Aminoglycoside Therapy
- Vancomycin Therapy
- Total Parenteral Nutrition Therapy
- Drug Information

Our Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and weekends and holidays 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is always a Pharmacist on call outside of these hours.
