Individual/Group Tours
Perhaps you are new to our area, are a member
of a senior or civic group, or want to bring your scout troop to learn about
our healthcare profession, we would be privileged to arrange a specific tour
for you. To inquire, please call Linda Kamrowski in the Public Relations Department
at (520) 417-3095.
School
Tours
We, as adults, mold and guide our children
to help prepare them for the future. Here at Sierra Vista Regional Health
Center, we want to help make a lasting impression on our youth and inspire
them with healthcare career ideas. That’s why we give tours of our facility
that are geared towards school-aged children.
Our school tours include the Emergency Department, Rehabilitation, and Radiology Departments. Here they learn the various aspects of each department, what we do in each area, and what type of schooling is required. We end our tour in the Down Under Cafe for Teddy Grahams and juice, which is a wonderful snack after a great tour! We send them off with a fun children’s kit and the hope that we will see their bright and smiling faces in the future, as a new physician, nurse, or other healthcare professional.
To book a tour with our hospital, please call Linda Kamrowski in the Public Relations Department at (520) 417-3095.
Maternal
Child Department Tours
The Maternal/Child Department gives tours to
expectant mothers every Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Because we may have an unexpected
high volume of patients, we do request that you please call the unit about
5:30 p.m. on the Sunday you wish to visit so that we may ensure someone is
available to conduct the tour. The Maternal/Child Department can be reached
at 417-3180.
